Information we collect

When you submit a website enquiry, the application can collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, postcode, service requested and project description.

We may also receive information you choose to send by email, telephone or WhatsApp, such as photographs, drawings or details of your property and proposed work.

How information is used

Enquiry details are used to understand the work you are considering, respond to your message, arrange discussions and manage relevant correspondence.

Enquiry information may be stored in the website's database and used to generate notification emails for authorised staff.

We do not describe enquiry submissions as consent to unrelated marketing. Any separate marketing activity would need its own appropriate legal assessment and privacy information.

Lawful basis and retention

Processing may be necessary to respond to requests made before entering into a contract or for legitimate interests in handling genuine business enquiries, depending on the circumstances.

Enquiry records are not currently subject to a verified automatic deletion schedule. A documented retention policy must be established, including criteria for unanswered enquiries, completed correspondence and records that need to be retained for legal obligations.

You can ask us to review or delete information we hold about you, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Who may handle your information

Authorised website administrators can access enquiries. Website hosting, database infrastructure and email delivery services may process information as needed to operate the service.

If you contact us using WhatsApp, that communication takes place through WhatsApp's service and is also subject to its own privacy information.

The identities and locations of relevant service providers, and any international transfers, must be confirmed and documented before this notice is treated as complete.

Cookies

The website uses an authentication cookie called lb_admin for the protected staff area. It is configured with HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite Strict settings, and a maximum lifetime of eight hours. Signing out expires this cookie.

The application audit did not identify advertising, marketing or analytics trackers. Therefore, we do not currently display a non-essential cookie consent banner. This position must be reviewed if tracking technology is introduced or additional cookies are found.

Security

Access to enquiry management is restricted to authenticated administrators. Security controls are used to protect website administration and stored information, although no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, or request portability.
